2. API Usage Data

We track aggregate page view counts associated with your API key to enforce usage limits and provide you with usage statistics in your dashboard. We do not track individual visitor data, IP addresses, or browsing behavior of your website visitors. The only data recorded is a count of API requests made using your key.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your email address is used for account authentication, service notifications (such as usage limit warnings), and essential communication about your account. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Payment Information

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial information on our servers. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle your payment data.

5. Cookies

We use a minimal session token stored in your browser to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party advertising cookies. The Bible tooltip widget loaded on your website visitors' browsers does not set any cookies.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your account data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure using their D1 database service. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us and we will process your request within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of any material changes via email.
